My personal blog has been filled to the brim with posts from the past few days about my Disney/Magic Mountain trip, so I feel it’s necessary to find a new outlet and post something here, too. Hahaha.
Not a baseball post, though I did see a few weird baseball-related things that caught my attention. The hotel that we stayed at had quite a few (a lot, actually) Red Sox fans, there was someone in Disneyland that was wearing a Blue Jays jacket, an Angels lanyard, and a Red Sox hat (odd combo to say the least), a (what I’m assuming to be a) Dodgers fan got up to my friend wearing his Giants hat and spat “GIANTS SUCK” then ran away, there was a Jack Skellington baseball jersey that was fucking awesome, and a random A’s fan had his hat knocked off by someone wearing a Mariners jersey. Oh, and of course the usual dirty looks from Dodgers (and a few Angels) fans.
Anyway, for someone who hasn’t been to Disneyland in 15 years, I had the time of my freakin’ life. My bank account went kaput, but it’s most definitely money well-spent. My friends got me collecting pins now, too. Lanyard filled with Pluto and Stitch (favorites #1 and 2) in just a day… LOL. Didn’t think that it’d actually be that fun. Also got a Chewbacca backpack at Tomorrowland that I’m going to wear as much as fucking possible because it’s amazing. Magic Mountain was fantastic, seeing that the park was COMPLETELY dead. Walked up to all the rides we wanted to go on, rode immediately, and finished the park in 3 hours. Best part: seeing that we still had extra time, we went back to Disney for the rest of the day.
Anyway, amazing vacation was amazing. Almost everything was Disney and nothing hurt. Back to reality, back to work, and back to not being in the happiest place on earth.
